Hi,
I think Embrio is a great Software and it makes it super easy for me to play with Arduino without having a lot of coding experience.
Will there also be a version for Mac user?

Hi Michael,

I'm getting ready to post another update with a few features and a bunch of bug fixes and other cleanup. Once that's posted, I'm going to start on the cross platform UI. So it's on the way, but I can't say when it'll be ready yet. Once I start on it and get an idea of how long it will take I'll post some updates.

Cool.
thanks for having this on your roadmap. Keep up the good work! I think you are definitely on the right track with your interface. This will make prototype work much easier for a lot of engineers like me without coding background.

I agree that this is going to make a big difference for people. I'm an old school programmer and love the block style with graphic layout. Makes it so simple and the old I get the less time and patients I have for some things.

I also love the fact that we can add custom blocks.

I'm new to Arduino and learning fast, but this will make it faster. I plan on getting a DMX interface and unless you have a pre-build block for it I will use the custom one to insert it.

I use windows and MAC, so a MAC version would be great as I use my MAC laptop to mobile debugging.

If I buy a license will it be good for Windows and MAC?

Thanks for the great application.

Im glad you like it! Yes the same license will work for all platforms. Currently you can activate 3 computers, that won't change when the cross platform version is ready. What I'm not sure of is if the cross platform will still be version 1 or the start of version 2. Either way I'll be as fair as possible to the original users.

I contacted Mapper personally for access to the version 2 beta which has recently started. Hopefully the full version of version 2 will be released soon, in the mean time if anyone else wants to get on it please contact me directly at ezra@embrio.io.

Welcome! I just googled dmx interface and it looks very interesting. Let me know if you have any trouble getting it working, and if you do get something going please consider adding it to the shared library.
