I downloaded the Mac version and unzipped it in the application folder per the instructions. I gave it permission to open via System Preferences. It does not open.

There does not appear to be an Embrio.app file which would be expected on a Mac.

Looking at the folder contents I see quite a few files that appear to be windows files. There is actually an embrio.exe file that fails to run with the message that windows programs cannot run on the Mac (no surprise here).

It looks like the Windows version was mistakenly zipped up as the Mac version. Just sayin'.

Until this gets fixed (or someone can enlighten me as to what is wrong), I'll be using Wyliodrin Studio.

Please let me know if there is a way I can get this interesting program running on my Mac. I would like to try it.

I wouldn't consider 4 months soon, but I updated the download page with a working version. If you try it out, please let me know if you can get it to work or not.

Edit: You are right though, this was made on Windows using a cross platform library. It wasn't done with native Mac stuff, so the .app will probably look weird. It does work on my test Mac running the latest OS now, I had to upgrade and rework some stuff that got broken by a recent OS update.
