Hi,

I'm currently working on a test project that uses a DMX shield board

CTC-DRA-10-1 (http://www.dfrobot.com/image/data/DFR0260/DMX%20Shield%20User%20manual.pdf)

It uses the serial port and has to be disabled with a jumper when uploading to the Arudino Uno.

I know some other boards have 2 serial ports and this might not be as big as an issues, but the option to specify which serial port to use with timing routine would a good add also.

Summary:
  • Option to disable Timing Routine which removes code
Option to specify which serial port to use

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean in the bottom left where you pick the board and port, you need something more specific than port?

When you say disable timing routine, do you mean the timing program that uploads and collects data before the final program is compiled?

Thanks.
