Hi; I have installed the latest Arduino 1.6.2. Then installed Embrio 1.1.2.0 on windows 8.1 machine. I select the directory where Arduino is installed but Embrio does not see it. Arduino works and can upload to the board, but Embrio still complains "did you install 1.0# not 1.6#" . Where to next? Thanks for any help SomeAssembly

Thank you for alerting me to this. Embrio looks for a file called boards.txt at Arduino/hardware/arduino/avr/boards.txt which has information about the different Arduino boards. It looks like that file isn't there any more in version 1.6.2, not sure where it went. I'll look into this and have a new installer available in the next day or two. In the mean time you should be able to get 1.6.0 to work with Embrio, which you can download from http://arduino.cc/en/Main/OldSoftwareReleases.

A new installer has been uploaded with a version that doesn't need the boards.txt file any more. Thanks again for alerting me to this, it would have probably been a while until I found it on my own.

I also had the no connection issue until just now. I noticed that previously when I first opened the options window that the path was correct but when I selected "restore defaults" the Arduino path window was empty. Then I selected the very same path again and it connected. This was using Embrio 1.1.4.0 and Arduino 1.6.3 on win7/64.
