hi, i have downloaded your new embrio2 for windows ...but don't work....or better the installer finish ok the istallation ...but when i start your app.. embrio2 don't start or better start but the screen is all white!!!
I have windows10 64 bit hp icore5 intel 4gb ram

I think I've got this figured out. It turns out that the cross platform library I'm using is pretty picky as to which version of Mono it works with. The link currently on the download page is wrong, I just realized it doesn't link to a specific version, just the newest "preview" version, which one worked but the current one doesn't. Also when Mono installs automatically that version doesn't work with Embrio.

For now you'll have to manually make sure you have the correct version installed. Apparently if I compile Embrio on a Mac I can bundle the correct version of Mono with it so this won't be an issue for long, but for now please follow these steps to uninstall your current version of Mono then install the correct version.

So first you have to uninstall the version of mono that you have installed now. To do this open a terminal the paste in

sudo /bin/sh –x

then enter your password.

Then paste in:

rm -r /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework
rm -r /Library/Receipts/MonoFramework-*

for dir in /usr/bin /usr/share/man/man1 /usr/share/man/man3 /usr/share/man/man5; do
(cd ${dir};
for i in `ls -al | grep /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/ | awk '{print $9}'`; do
rm ${i}
done);
done


Mono should be uninstalled now. Now download and install https://download.mono-project.com/archive/5.10.1/macos-10-universal/MonoFramework-MDK-5.10.1.47.macos10.xamarin.universal.pkg

Once that is installed you should be able to run Embrio. I would appreciate knowing if this works for you or not.
