I'm currently using Ver 2.2.2.3

Upon startup my system is slowing right down when open up the program.
I notice that there are 70 + error messages relating to deleting backup file and unable to access them.

Any reason why the program would be trying to delete all of these files?
This is the reason why the program takes about 5 minutes to settle down before I can do anything with it. I think.

A while ago there was a bug that destroyed a project when it was loaded, so I added a thing where the first thing to happen when a project opens is that a backup is made in the documents folder. I didn't want that folder to get so big so they get deleted after a while, assuming they aren't needed any more. It should be happening on a background thread, I'll check it out.

You can delete them all manually from C:\Users\<YourUserName>\Documents\Embrio\ProjectBackups

I'm not sure that is causing issues, but if you try deleting them all yourself and opening Embrio again let me know if it has less lag.

You can also turn this off in the Application Options tab which you can get to from the settings menu or searching for options in the search tab. You can turn off "Make project backup when project is loaded" near the bottom, or change how many days to save projects for.

I still get a message
