Compatible with Mac OS X 10.14 Mojave?

Is Embrio compatible with the latest Mac OS (10.14 Mojave)? I cannot connect to arduino uno. I get the error message discussed below. I've successfully connected with Arduino (v1.8.9), ArduBlock, XOD, MakeBlock and a few other visual programming IDE's - this is the only one that I have had trouble connecting to the Uno. By the way I have tried to connect using the Arduino IDE settings checkbox, and without.
The video tutorials talk about connection info in the lower left corner of the Embrio user interface. My connection info is in the upper right. I assume that is because the video tutorials were for an older version. At any rate, in the upper right, I've selected the UNO and the /dev/tty.usbmodem14401 as the port. I've noticed that in the Arduino IDE the usb modem port has a slightly different name. It is called /dev/cu.usbmodem14401. Could that be a source of the problem? Also, I tried changing the default baud rate of 57600 to the 14400 implied by the name of the connection, but that did not solve the problem.
Apparently I cannot copy the error messages, so I'll just summarize: It says it Error uploading to Arduino ... Can't find file in the Documents/Embrio/ArduinoCompile/long-alpha-numeric-string.
I have not paid the license fee (I haven't even been able to test it out yet) so I cannot compile. I find it odd that it would give me an error saying that it can't find a compile file. But, whatever ...
Another reason I think Embrio may be incompatible with this version of the Mac OS is that there is one and only one menu option in the upper left corner next to the apple icon. It is "Embrio". Click on it and it does nothing. Usually, at the very least, there would be a Quit option there. But there is nothing. This suggests that there is something "funky" going on.
This looks like a promising piece of software, but I've hit a stumbling block. Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks for the message. Sorry for the late reply, somehow the site stopped sending me e-mail updates when there are posts. I do my work on a Windows computer and haven't tested a huge amount on mac. I did recently get a new-ish Mac Mini for testing, I'll see if I can reproduce what you are seeing. It doesn't sound like a problem interfacing with the Arduino, it sounds like a path problem. If you look in the Documents/Embrio/ArduinoCompile folder do you see anything? Are there any spaces in your computer user name? I know a long time ago that was an issue on Windows but I don't know about on Mac. Edit: You are right that the videos are from an older version, but everything should work the same. I don't think the weird menu means anything, I probably just need to learn about setting up a menu the way Linux expects it to be set up. I use Windows and don't have very much experience with Linux. I updated my Mac Mini to the newest OS and didn't have any problems with my connection. There must be something specific to your computer.
If you have time, could you take a screenshot of the message tab when you get the error? Also could you see if the file it is referencing is in your documents folder at the path it mentions?
